Read to a Dog
Read to a dog provided a chance for children to read aloud to a therapy dog for 10 minutes. Research shows that reading to a dog can help build important literacy skill in kids, especially reluctant readers. Children may bring their own books to read or borrow a book from the library. Registration is preferred; drop-ins will be accommodated if schedule allows.
